Beautiful day yesterday at the Country Living Fair in Columbus. I have never been but will go again next year for sure. Who knew you could recycle so much! Take the old trophies from your attic, cut the people statue off and paint it, attach it to a wodden board and wah lah you have a new coat rack for $90. I think I shall go on a scavenger hunt next time I go to my parent's house to find all those old things in the attic, become famous for my creativity. Wonder what I could do with my batons. LOL
Wanted to thank all of you Buckeye Rug Hooking Guild Members that demonstrated at the fair. We had a lot of interest come to the tent and alot of laughter. Happy people are sure to draw the crowds. Thank you guild members. We hope to see many of those visitors at our fall meeting at Cherry Valley Lodge in October.
Coming up this week Linda Powell will join us at the Wadsworth Library on Thursday, Sept 20. 430-730. She plans to present her program at around 5pm on Favorite Rugs. She will give us a jump start on our new project for the year.
